Newly opened Karaoke Mexican Restaurant

February 17th the new Karaoke Mexican Restaurant opened at 418 S Military Avenue in the Westgate Shopping Center.

The owners, Marvin and Margarita,were welcomed by Green Bay Mayor Schmitt, the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce representatives, a mariachi band, friends and family. Sample chips and salsa were chased but great margaritas and several stayed for dinner.

“I have been there so many times already and everytime, I get something different”, said Fireman’s Park neighbors. “It has all been great!” They even took their son from out of town twice on his request.

Daily specials and good portions are a great value and you usually have some to take home. Lot’s of seafood on the menu too.

Changing vendors at the Market on Military

Each week we host the Market on Military – it’s a unique group of vendors.

A few new vendors have come on board now that the other winter markets are done for the year. The spring greens should be here by the next Market April 9th. The fall crops are winding down but potatoes, onions and carrots are still around.

We have some great spring and Easter gifts. Fresh meats, cheese, bread, maple syrup, eggs, and chocolate.

The remaining days are Sundays from 11-3 on April 9, April 23, May 14, and May 28. We are located indoors at 521 S Military Avenue, next door to Chili John’s. After that we will be back outside on June 1st!

Earth Day Clean Up on Military Avenue

Everyone is welcome to clean up Military Avenue for Earth Day!

A group of students, scouts, and neighbors will meet in the BMO Harris parking lot Tuesday, April 18th at 10:00 AM and spruce up the area until 11:40.
